Welcome! My name is Nancy and I'm a bear-aholic. I just love teddy bears of all shapes and sizes. I have stuffed ones, paper ones, wood ones, and glass ones. Some of them are collector's items but most of them are just bears I saw and couldn't help but buy. This site, which is full of bearmaking tips and articles, links and patterns, gives me a chance to give something back to the bear community. My obsession with bears didn't start until I was in my late teens. My favorite bear is one that my Mom got me for Christmas when I was 16. I named him Scotty because he had a Scottish hat on his head and my boyfriend at the time was Scott. That's him in the picture.
